In June, several evaporators and other components were transported from Messer in Heringen-Lengers and Ebner in Eiterfeld to the K+S KKF construction site in Philippstal, with transport heights of 8.20 m and a width of 6.80 m.

Here, the winding roads became so narrow that there was only a few centimeters of space between the gutters of the houses on the right and left. In addition to the police escort, two company escort vehicles, one workshop vehicle, one truck with a loading crane, and one aerial work platform had to be deployed as advance and rear guards, dismantling and reinstalling obstacles (e.g., traffic signs) and removing and reinstalling traffic lights. It was also necessary to make several green road dividers passable with GroundGuards.

Thanks to perfect planning and preparation, all components arrived on site undamaged and on schedule. They were lifted into the steel structure of the facility just in time the following morning by the specially provided 750-ton crane.
